\"\"<\/a>Fernando Castillo Ochotorena (Almer\u00eda, 1975) formado en Derecho y Marketing, comenz\u00f3 su carrera profesional centr\u00e1ndose en el mundo de lo visual, arm\u00f3nico y est\u00e9tico. Como Director de Arte independiente para diferentes firmas de moda y dise\u00f1ador escenograf\u00edas de producto y escaparatismo, comenz\u00f3 a desarrollar estructuras que serv\u00edan de apoyo a la exhibici\u00f3n. A partir de estas instalaciones, Castillo Ochotorena comenz\u00f3 a evolucionar su trabajo art\u00edstico: poliedros surgidos de lo decorativo, que actualmente se elevan al terreno de lo escult\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

Autodidacta, Castillo Ochotorena crea su se\u00f1a de identidad con las piezas suspendidas o sobremesa, que oscilan entre la bidimensionalidad y la tridimensionalidad, y la sencillez de la estructura b\u00e1sica, constructiva. Piezas taxativas pero de materiales comunes, elevados a obra de arte, en las que el espectador debe decidir c\u00f3mo interact\u00faa sin que el artista entre a discutirla, obras que habitualmente no llevan asociado un t\u00edtulo y que est\u00e1n abiertas al disfrute m\u00e1s personal.<\/p>\n

Es la ausencia de una lectura establecida lo que crea el car\u00e1cter cambiante de sus esculturas, el movimiento, la posibilidad de que puedan servir para imaginar formas y que cada observador cree un espacio de interacci\u00f3n en el que las posibilidades son infinitas.<\/p>\n

Sus instalaciones fluyen por el espacio, que las rodea proyectando sombras inesperadas, pareciendo et\u00e9reas y livianas, creando una doble materia, la que se ve y la sombra que proyectan, desarrollando dos espacios que se yuxtaponen entre si. Castillo Ochotorena no quiere que sean lejanas e inalcanzables sino que las crea buscando la interacci\u00f3n con el espacio y el espectador para que se sumerjan en ellas.<\/p>\n

Fernando Castillo Ochotorena (Almer\u00eda, 1975) started his career freelancing as Art Director and Set Designer for different fashion brands. This work sets the basis for Castillo Ochotorena\u2019s current artwork and boosts its evolution from decoration objects to proper sculpture.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Self-taught and graduated in Law, Castillo Ochotorena finds his inspiration on geometric art, fashion and travelling to create shapes oscillating between two and three-dimensions, abstract and figurative interpretation and a link of Spanish Painting and Sculpture with the\u00a0simplicity of a constructive\u00a0basic\u00a0structure. <\/i><\/span>Sculpture\u2019s changing nature is essential for the artist, its motion and the endless shapes it offers to each viewer.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

His large installations flow through the space projecting unexpected shadows. They\u2019re not elusive, to the contrary viewers are encouraged to interact with them and inmerse in them.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Materials are warm and simple like wood and leather, or inspiring like brass and methacrylate that together creates a material language.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
